Bahcall Safi
A top graduate from Harvard University, Safi Bahcall also holds a PhD from Stanford University. After working for three years as a consultant for McKinsey, he founded a biotechnology company which develops new cancer drugs. Listing the company on the stock exchange, he served as its CEO for thirteen years. In 2008, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year in Biotechnology in New England, and in 2011 he worked with President Obama's Committee of Scientific Advisers (PCAST) on the future of national research.
He lives with his wife and two children in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Loonshots is his first published book.
