Rezzolla Luciano

Luciano Rezzolla is the President of the Department of Theoretical Astrophysics and Director at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the Goethe University Frankfurt. His main research areas include gravitational physics and compact objects, such as black holes and neutron stars, for which he has received several awards. He is a member of the board of the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration – EHTC, which published the first-ever image of a black hole in 2019. Since the same year, he holds the honorary position of Andrews Professor of Astronomy at Trinity College Dublin.
